“A formation of people, objects or things on besides/behind the other.”

I knew from the start of the project that I wanted to do something about people. But it took me a while to introduce lne into people. And then I did the obvious and drew people useing lots of lines. After doing qiute a few drawings of this I still wasnt sure where to go with it all, I thought maybe designing a calender but at this point I oly had a week untill the deadline and I dindnt want to rush it so I researching festivals to go to this summer and I saw Creamfields fest. This sort of dance music is very much surrounded in lines with all the lights and waves and things so then I decided on an album cover for creamfields.

I already knew exactly how I wanted it to look so I experimented doing more drawings and then scanning them in to use in Illustrator. This was the first time I had used illustrator but I knew to do a job like this in Photoshop would take twice as long and just look poor so I used illustrator and picked it up fairly quikly. After drawing around 5 faces on illustrator I put them together how I pictured. I drew Audio Boys, Calvin Harris, Goldfrapp, nd someone else. But when I put them together on 1 page it looked too much and even after moving them around and changing the colours and everything I still wasnt happy with it. So with a few days to go until deaadline I chose my 2 best line drawings which were the Audio Bullys DJs and decided on just doing there album. Which to my suprise they have a new 1 which hasnt yet been released so I took the songs from this new album and placed them on my cover.

I had the idea of it opening up into a poster 12cmX72cm. I was finallly happy with the results of my illustrations and so the day before deadline I went to print it off in College. I was suprised that everything printed off ok, I think this was beacause I learned In Design and used all the right measuements. However when I got home I made the wrong choice and because it wasnt possible to print my poster back to back I had to stick them together so I cut them both out and scored the edged where I was to fold each part and then I stuck them together wrong. There was no way of going back so I had to hnd it in all folded wrongly.
