I made quite a few versions of this poster and I chose and developed this one as I liked the texture feel. It is a contrast as the inside booklet is bold, fresh and bright where as the front cover and this poster are much more older looking with the coffee stained paper and the burned style type. However I think this works quite well as it proves the book is not just for kids.
The little bits of type spread out around the poster are Lyrics from MGMT song called 'Electric Feel.' I felt this is very relavent as if people do take the time to read and reconise the lyrics then it could be a perfect poster to put on your wall and also as my theme is on Plug sockets its to do with electricity right?
I added a copy of the lyrics as the poster is not clear and difficult to read with the old washed out effect covering....
